Different evidence, different labels
- Manufacturer-published: attributed to the exact original page and configuration, with the access date.
- Calculated: arithmetic such as inches × 25.4. A conversion is not an independent physical measurement.
- Independently measured: requires a documented measuring position, instrument, method and specimen. We do not claim this for manufacturer tables.
- Unknown or conflicting: left blank or explicitly flagged, never filled from a neighboring model.
Keep the model and measuring position attached
GR’s r2 and r4 refer to different positions. Wedge uses family-specific measuring depths on an oval opening. Warburton publishes approximate comparisons rather than exact cross-brand geometry. Diameter alone cannot settle cup volume, receiver fit or playing response.

Identify a complete mouthpiece versus a detachable top, cup, rim or backbore. Preserve generations, suffixes, asterisks, material and shank options. A collection page is not one model with one set of dimensions.
Resolve conflicts without hiding them
We record original units before converting them. Where a maker’s values conflict, both the discrepancy and its source are visible. Missing pages or changed selectors alone do not prove discontinuation. Source access dates are not product revision dates.
The September 30 correction layer updates selected current Paxman, GR and Warburton fields consistently in the public catalog, detail pages and comparisons. Original database rows are preserved; this is not a database-wide certification. Unchecked legacy guides and catalog fields remain review candidates.

Editorial and commercial information stay separate
No product price tags are published in this library. Sellers’ links allow readers to check current details directly. Last reviewed: 2026-09-30. Next scheduled general catalog review: 2027-03-29. We check originals for new models, changed options, renamed families and unresolved conflicts, while retaining stable page URLs.
Reference pages use server-rendered text, accessible tables, stable section anchors, original-source links and structured article data. These help readers and automated research tools locate evidence; they do not guarantee search ranking, AI citation or permission to reuse another publisher’s images or prose.
