The original Denis Wick design from the 1970s. Slightly deeper cup with a traditional British rim feel — wide and cushion-forward. Beloved by British brass band players and a generation of orchestral players.
Launched in the 2000s to reflect the narrower, more focussed rim profiles preferred by modern players and contemporary orchestral literature. Sharper inner rim peak produces faster articulation. Same numbering system — different feel.
Co-designed with euphonium virtuoso Steven Mead. More compact rim than Heritage with very precise cup-to-throat geometry. Marketed specifically to euphonium soloists and advanced students transitioning to conservatory.
