Copied from a Tabard original (ca. 1810). Designed specifically for cor basse playing — characterised by an exceptionally large throat to support the fundamentals of the natural horn. Deep funnel geometry. Requires leadpipe adaptor. Use these measurements as a comparison starting point: fit and response still depend on the player, dental structure, instrument receiver, and each manufacturer's measuring method.
