Reference Notes
L'Olifant's interpretation of the Philip Farkas design — the mouthpiece that defined the mid-century American symphonic horn sound. Farkas was principal horn of the Chicago Symphony and his cup geometry balances resistance and volume for versatile orchestral use. Produced with L'Olifant's signature handformed brass construction. Use these measurements as a comparison starting point: fit and response still depend on the player, dental structure, instrument receiver, and each manufacturer's measuring method.
